Vesak Festival 2025
Kalutara Vidyalaya celebrated its 2025 Vesak Festival with a vibrant Festival of Lights, honoring the birth, enlightenment, and passing of the Buddha. Held in early May, the event featured traditional Buddhist rituals, illuminated decorations, and community participation, reflecting the school rich cultural heritage.
A highlight of the celebration was the beautifully adorned school premises with Vesak lanterns and lights, creating a serene and festive atmosphere. The event was well-attended by students, alumni, and local residents, showcasing the unity and devotion of the Kalutara Vidyalaya community.
Live Broadcast Meeting
Joint Committee Meeting held for the live broadcast of the 65th Battle of the Mangosteen Cricket Match and 15th One Day Match between Kalutara Vidyalaya and Tissa College.
We would like to thank the Kalutara Vidyalaya Old Boys Association for providing 3 trophies for the Teachers Cricket Tournament, Old Boys Cricket Tournament and Prefects Cricket Tournament sponsored by Past Pupils Association of Tissa Central College.
Battalion Evaluation Camp 2025
Battalion Evaluation Camp 2025 - Phase II (12th Battalion) Boys Competition under the following 6 test levels
• First place in the Provincial Director Test
• Second place in the Physical Exercise Test
• First place in the Solid Drill Test
• Second place in the Presentation Test
• 5th place in the Variety Show
• Third place in the Barracks Test
Warm congratulations to the Kalutara College Defence Cadet Team who secured the first place by recording a remarkable victory of 1185 out of the total score of 1800 marks!!!
Sinhalese New Year Table 2025
The Sinhalese New Year Table, presented by Kalutara Vidyalaya Old Boys Association to all the staff of Kalutara Vidyalaya in conjunction with the Sinhala New Year, was held very successfully on 22nd April 2025.
