15th One Day Encounter 2025
The 15th ODI between Kalutara Vidyalaya and Tissa Central College was held at the Tyrone Fernando International Cricket Stadium, Moratuwa.
65th Battle of the Mangosteen
The 65th Battle of the Mangosteen between Kalutara Vidyalaya and Tissa Central College will be held on May 23, 24 and 25 at 9:00 AM at the De Soysa International Cricket Stadium.

Prefects & Teachers Cricket Encounter 2025
The Prefect Cricket Encounter and Teachers Cricket Encounter, which will be held concurrently with the Battle of the Mangosteen Cricket Encounter, will be held at the Tissa Central College Ground.
Old Boys Cricket Encounter 2025
Both Old Boys Cricket Encounter, held concurrently with the 65th Battle of the Mangosteen cricket match between Kalutara Vidyalaya and Tissa Central College, were successfully held at the Tissa College grounds.
Soorya Mangalyaya 2025
The Kalutara Vidyalaya Primary Section Surya Mangalya 2025 was held in a very grand manner.
CRIC BASH 2K25
This concert was organized by the Old Boys Association of Kalutara Vidyalaya and the School Development Society, bringing music and sports together on one stage.Sri Lankan cricketers joined the island popular singing stars to the "Trithal" music led by Manoj Peiris to sing that evening.This concert, which was a different experience for the people of Kalutara, was shaped by the dance of U Dancers led by Nirosha Thalagala.The show was hosted by veteran presenter Kalum Srimal. T. M. Dilshan, a distinguished alumni of Kalutara Vidyalaya and former captain of the Sri Lanka cricket team, served as the brand ambassador for the show.
Githathma 2024
The musical entertainment program "Geethathma" presented by the veteran song critic and lyricist Mr. Sugath Somaweera was held on 06.11.2024 at the main hall of the Vidyalaya. The singing talents of the boys of Kalutara Vidyalaya as well as the girls of its sister school, Kalutara Balika Vidyalaya, added a wonderful charm to the event. At the end of the program, a tribute was paid to the two beloved teachers (Teachers Leticia and Avanti) who had made great dedication to elevate the Oriental Music Department of Kalutara Vidyalaya to the highest level for over two decades, as well as to the current music teachers.
Noya Yuthu Thana 2024
The "Noya Yuthu Thana" program organized by the Kalutara Vidyalaya Old Boys Association was successfully held on 19.07.2024 at the main hall of Kalutara Vidyalaya under the patronage of the Commissioner of Prisons (Rehabilitation) Mr. Sinha Jagath Weerasinghe. Pasdun Korala Lions Club and Horana Lions Club were affiliated and about 450 children participated in this event.
14th One Day Encounter 2024
The 14th One Day Encounter between Kalutara Vidyalaya and Tissa Central College was held on 5th May 2024 at the Tyronne Fernando International Cricket Stadium in Moratuwa. This annual limited-overs match is a significant event in the "Battle of the Mangosteen" cricket series, celebrating the longstanding rivalry between the two schools.
Battle of the Mangosteen 2024
The 64th annual Battle of the Mongoose between Kalutara Vidyalaya and Tissa Central College was held at the Tiron Fernando Stadium in Moratuwa on 3rd and 4th May 2024. The match ended in a draw, continuing the tradition of competitive but closely contested sports between the two schools.
