Donating a baton to the band

The baton, which was essential for the Kalutara Vidyalaya Senior Western Band, was specially made for our school by the United Kingdom branch of Old Boys' Association, with the full coordination of the Kalutara Vidyalaya Old Boys' Association, from leading manufacturers in the United Kingdom and donated to our school. The donation was presented to the Principal of Kalutara Vidyalaya, Mr. Harshana Peiris, by the Honorable Secretary of the United Kingdom branch, Mr. Mahesh Kannangara, on July 21, 2023. On that occasion, Teacher Dhananjani, the students of the Western Band and the officers of the Old Boys' Association also joined. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our fellow members, including the officers of the Western Kingdom Branch of the Old Boys' Association, for making that special sacrifice.
